Training Day June 13

Join us for our first summer training day this year! We will be meeting at Prairie Valley Gundogs (PVG) field starting at 6:30am, Saturday, June 13. PVG has graciously offered the use of their pigeons. Pigeons may be used for a flat fee of $10. If your dog takes out a bird or birds are killed as a result of your negligence, they are $10 each.

NO SHOOTER PIGEONS/BIRDS AVAILABLE

Our focus will be bird intro, search, and pointing for younger puppies planning to NA test. For dogs moving on to GDT and UT training, we will be focusing on woah and steadiness training. A training table, pigeons, and launchers will be available. If your GDT/UT dog is not at least steady to flush, please consider planning to do table work with pigeons so we can utilize our resources and time most efficiently for members with puppies.
