We have all levels of expertise in the training of our dogs, so we welcome you to join us.
We focus on training while having fun!
OKNAVHDA is a group of dedicated gundog enthusiasts who not only enjoy hunting over a well-trained dog, but also the company of other folks who share our interests. Being members of OKNAVHDA allows us to evaluate our dogs under the rules and regulations of the national chapter of NAVHDA so that we can select dogs that excel in all of the qualities that a versatile hunting partner should possess. But just as importantly, being members of OKNAVHDA allows us to give and receive advice on training and hunting so that we can get the most out of our gundogs and have more great days in the field.
NAVHDA
(North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to foster, promote, and improve the versatile hunting dog breeds in North America; to conserve game by using well trained reliable hunting dogs before and after the shot; and to aid in the prevention of cruelty to animals by discouraging nonselective and uncontrolled breeding, which produces unwanted and uncared-for dogs.
